Support to Latvian Schools
Since 2006 the Company has been implementing a support programme aimed at improvement of the quality of natural sciences teaching in Latvian schools.
Over a longer period of time ELLE has awarded financial support to a number of selected schools to endorse accomplishments of their teachers and best pupils – winners of school Olympiads – in biology, chemistry, geography, physics as well as in environmental projects. Awards are given to the applicants, which submit the most appealing and successful narratives (projects) offering a well-founded vision how to make the teaching-learning process of natural sciences more attractive by improved means of teaching aids, research appliances or thematic field trips.

Some insight into the use of financing during the previous years (in Latvian):
Company has developed its support policy for international students. ELLE provides a possibility to be a part of its team and work together for the Company. If a student is interested and determined to feel the pulse of working environment and spirit, which is different from the traditional practice in France or Germany, ELLE is ready to offer internship for several months.
Longstanding successful cooperation has been established with the Ecole des Mines de Nantes (France). Students from the Universiteit Twente (Netherlands), Münster University and Hochschulefürtechnikundwirtschaft/HTW Berlin (Germany) have also accomplished their internships in ELLE.
